Spring Writing

We were learning to write the best features about Spring. We were also learning write why we like Spring. I was learning to write a paragraph using a topic sentence, supporting details, and a conclusion. 

I found it hard to use different sentence starters in all the sentences because I wanted to use the word Bees in 2 sentences but I couldn't. I also found it hard to choose level 3 vocab.

I found it easy to insert my image to the middle of the flower because the teacher put instructions on one of the slides. I also found it easy to write about the best features about Spring because Spring is one of my favourite seasons.

Next time I will use my online thesaurus more so I can use more level 3 vocab. I will also try to get more yellow in my writing . 

 

Sunflowers

 

We were learning to plant a carrot or a sunflower.  I found it easy to choose what plant I wanted to grow because I like lowers better than veggies. I found it hard choose what my research questions were going to be because I know quite a bit about both sunflowers and carrots. Next time I need to try and use different images because some of them had taken me quite a while to find.  

Go Home Ball Tag

 

We were learning to create a game of our own. I found it easy to insert images that relate to what I was saying. I found it hard to pick 3 games and merge them together because I like so many games. I enjoyed picking backgrounds because there were so many that looked pretty. Next time I need to think of a better name for the game so it doesn't sound so weird.

Movie Trailer

 

We were learning to create a PowToon about a Movie Trailer on our favourite book and I used the learning asset  The Self-Manager because I was learning to work by myself and not get distracted. I found it easy to choose the book I was going to make a Movie Trailer about because it's a HILARIOUS😛 novel about 2 sisters that absolutely HATE😠 each other but in the end they learn that no matter how strong hatred is Love is stronger. I found it hard to choose the background for the sisters room because there weren't a lot of good bedrooms to look up. I enjoyed putting sound into this PowToon because there were lots of different sound to test out. Next time I need to choose another that's a bit more simple than this so I can look at other backgrounds. 

Prototec

 

We were learning to answer basic fact questions on PROTOTEC. I found it easy to answer the times tables because I know most of them. I found it hard to do groupings with 100 but I did get them right I just couldn't answer them very quickly. Next time I need to work on groupings with 100 or use prototec more so i can get better at MATHS.

REACH VALUES in Powtoons

 

We were learning to create a Powtoon about REACH values. I found it easy to make the characters move around the screen. I found it hard to pick my idea for what shows RESPECT. I really enjoyed picking music because it sounds really nice. Next time I need to choose another letter in REACH so I can work with something that is much more challenging so I can challenge myself.

How To Make A Sandwich

 

We were learning to write instructions about something. I found it easy to write these instructions because I like making sandwiches. I found it hard to a specific sandwich because I like making lots of different sandwiches. Next time I need to choose some other instructions so I can learn about other things.
