Onomatopoeia Fireworks Poem

Onomatopoeia is describing a sound that you hear such as " POW" or "SPLAT".  That was one of our  focuses for our poem. Our learning asset was whai whakaaro\ thinker.
A few parts were hard for me because finding the right words to rhyme with the words that I wrote in my poem were quite difficult because the sentence fireworks are always fun, you never want it to end,

but you just have to be patient and wait until next year. That sentence didn't rhyme so that kind of let me down in my poem. The easiest parts of being a thinker were adding onomatopoeia in to my poem as well as repeating it at the end of my poem. Next time I need to add better adjectives to describe my poem.

  1. Hi I,m Lucas from Mangapapa I like your poem because it had a lot of Onomatopoeia. I also like how you added a lot of rhyming words in there and a lot made me inspired by your writing so then I would love to read it again but I am happy about that. Good job.
